I believe that this puzzle is very good at teaching an essential lesson: If the "good" route can't work, then there is another way, even if it seems "impossible". Always be ready to fully reset your mind to be able to see it.

Calming Dance

Not particularly calming. This dance is straight manic. Extremely logical in the end, though there are some very GM level optimizations here.
