I wonder if the level would have the same difficulty if less of the unused space was available. To me it seemed fairly obvious that at least one quarter of the board would be unused.

I was able to get to 2 off in about 3 minutes, and several hours later, I still can't figure out how to resolve the 2 off! I'll keep at it. Really cool level though!
